876 new teachers to be recruited in Abu Dhabi

Hundreds of new teachers are being recruited for Abu Dhabi public schools for the forthcoming academic year.
Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) is looking for 876 new teachers – Emiratis and expats – to fill teaching and support positions in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Western Region schools from September.
Mohammed Al Dhaheri, ADEC’s Executive Director of School Operations, said the authority is looking for personnel qualified to teach kindergarten, Islamic studies, Arabic, science, maths, English, social studies, physiology, physics, biology, chemistry, social workers, special education, and psychology.
Candidates for teaching positions must have a bachelor’s degree in the required teaching subject, with a minimum overall grade of “good”, and they must have the IELTS English language certificate with the required score for specific subjects.
